You have to talk to scotttrade(I know someone else here is working with Scottrade right now, so once its changed it will be global through all accounts) first to have the cost basis adjusted, when you see it adjusted online you should be fine. My 1099 will not be recreated with TDAmeritrade for about a week or so but I filed anyway since TD does not send the 1099 to the US Government until July anyway, not sure if they even send the incorrect one maybe just the most current.
