I know it sounds lame but here goes:
a million just not what it used to be.

/when I was a lad you could buy a nice house in new York for $20K
now that is your local property tax on the same house. Maybe more.

Time is running out for me to get ahead of the "Man" for lack of a better term.
My job is not going to get me there.

If all goes according to plan. Freddie Mac is gonna make me self sufficient.

how about you? you a millionaire yet? beta is right, not enough to retire on. i need two minimum.

I used to think one was enough....

like gordon geckko (sure it is spelled wrong) said when asked:

How much is enough???

he replied:

on another note, i bought my first common this week.. none of my preferred day orders filled...

got a paltry amount of shares @ 3.60. put in another limit for 3.21 and didn't fill.

it would have filled if i had put it in gtc. just didnt want to have to watch pre-market.....

I was before the selloff :(

Not stressed though; whatever- it's just a number. I feel like I've secured my future well enough for the time being.

I'm in - mostly lump sum from pensions and 401ks and IRAs

So it will be about 78 cent dollars and oops - I am not in there
