Excerpts from Mar. 6/14 video interview with MRIB CEO and Dan Senters, Vice President of Distribution:
1. Marani has been approved verbally by the Alcohol Beverage Control Board of the State of California. The documents have been sent to Sacramento to release the license which may take a few days to happen. They are anxious to get moving forward immediately.
2. Marani is waiting for the paper documents or posting on ABC website. Documents have been reviewed, documents should be sent to Sacramento to issue the license.
3. Dan has been in the business for 25 years. Dan's team is ready to go now that the license has been obtained. Eight (8) major markets ready to go with distributors around the country.
4. Ready to ship product in the next 48 hours.
5. Made presentations to a national retailer in California in competition with other national brands for shelf space at the eye level when presenting the brand. Partnering with Zodiac has made Marani a very equitable brand.
6. A list celebrity events (Bloomingdale's, Mercedes Benz) have made everyone's job easier which will propel the brand in the domestic and international markets.
7. Beginning with the management team, Marani will start branding the product out there. Once market hits market place, people are anxious to purchase product and it creates the necessary consumer for Marani to taste the product.
8. Marani's vodka is unique because it is distilled with honey and dried skim milk that is what creates the smooth finish of the product and hence it gives Marani the ability to win several gold medals awards both from world spirits competition San Francisco and five star award.
9. Marani's plans still remain the same. Some of the plans have been slightly delayed due to licensing, they are still on target and they plan to have revenues reported at the end of the first quarter.
