Destiny can do two hour movies and expect that to be a big business.
Clipstream can do higher than 960 HD quality, but it needs more bandwidth and CPU, so not every computer can handle it. Unlike other video solutions, Destiny can lock and protect the movie from being copied and have had the Guido 90 minute movie on the clipstream site for most of last year.
- the encoding time is 7 times. Half that time is encoding the HD version, which other solutions don't do. If they were to drop HD, they could do it in 3.5 times. Those speeds are on consumer grade desktop computers. If you used a server, it would be much faster.
