greg s, I agree, the financial situation of AMD is surely less than ideal. But then again, if you look at their history, it hardly ever has been great. And it´s not like that´s news to any investor, and it´s not like AMD is trying to cover anything - on the contrary, if you listen to the last CC, Hector was very upfront about these issues, and made it very clear that they´re doing everything possible to make sure AMD returns to profitability - as that is the one most important thing for the company. And they´re doing quite something, from what I´ve seen. And these things cost money.

Is it their usual practice to announce that a company is under review, with the outcome not yet determined? It´s fine with me if they think a company deserves a downgrade, they should go ahead with it, but why add uncertainty to an already uncertain market by announcing this "under review" thing?
