Even as fake product pictures, they are horrid. It reminds me of the hop-on stock pictures too. (though they put up some improved ones lately)
If you knew anything about marketing you would know that no one would have used those for "fake product" pictures. They would have done some more to it, to make it look more like a real product. Esp at the level we are all talking about. A basic graphics designer can be hired for less than $20/hr. The graphics would have taken maximum one night to do.
