PLUG was in the telecom UPS business for India and nearly went bankrupt as a result . I doubt that Andy Marsh will let them go back there for a few years if ever. Their units are fine but they have far too much to do at the moment. I suspect FCEL will tackle that market, you have the issue of delivery of hydrogen to the units during hurricanes/floods. sounds great idea but in practice it gives you a day or so of extra "life" on your cell tower.
I wouldn't expect any new markets (bowling pins) to be addressed for at least 18 months. They have : a) captured 2% of the fork lift materials handling market but have 100% market share! b) got pilot contracts with FedEx for airport material handling c) got pilot with FedEx for delivery truck battery range extenders (not replacing truck batteries but giving longer power. d) got pilot contract with SYSCO for refrigerated truck chiller power supply - replacing diesel engine).
These markets are more than enough for them to handle as they also scale up the business.
They have barely touched international markets as well.
Any more market entrants at this time would be a red flag as it would be impossible to manage.
PS Not sure why someone said they were OVERRATED! LOL under rated is more like it.
