duece, it's going to be pirated until the legit use prices drop to the point where it doesn't pay to pirate anymore. I think the demand for is more elastic than the industry thinks.
Would you pay a nickel to download something? I think most folks would. A buck? No way, and I used Napster and still have Morpheous and Kazaa on my computer (haven't visited lately, and mostly because I was trying to put together some holiday music for the kids).
Hi deuce bigelow: I agree. Ok, some things are are alright to get for free; hookers, hula-hoops, henways. "What's a henway?" you ask. "About a pound and a half." But singers, musicians, songwriters should get paid for their art.
