I have learned much about oil politics in this part of the world and it appears that nothing is coincidental. Every delay, twist and turn in this ongoing saga has a reason whether it was the coup, XOM not bidding, the dropping out of U.S. partners, CVX's drill point etc... I am also beginning to think that Offor is the man behind the curtain a la ...Wizard of Oz...except he is all powerful and not to be trifled with.
