It's fairly deceiving when certain SPEC2000 components will *slow down* from 64-bit mode.

For example 181.mcf is pointer heavy and will most definitely slow down. There are many applications that will slow down and many that will speed up. In aggregate it's just about a wash.

Why not quote the aggregate SPEC2000 speedup? Hint: There is no speedup.
