i.e. my trade-adjusted cost basis is considerably less than zero.
I use that useful fiction with my investments as well. Of course, as long as there is a holding there is risk that must be managed and that can still create or result in loss on a real and/or tax basis.
It's just interesting to hear that point of view. As I said, I use that pov myself.
