yeah he has been bandwagoning ipos a great deal....my issue with that guy isn't his stock picking ability or even the method of delivery, screaming/yelling but --- the show airs 5 days a week for 50 weeks a year. He pounds the table on 2+ picks a show, new stuff that you just gotta BUY NOW....that is about 500 a year and unless it is a huge bull market that isn't realistic....it is why he has shifted into tiny small caps, ipos and development stage biopharmas...course he may back off those after the rheo/eyet disasters that he pumped hard just before they got creamed.
I liked CROX quite a bit,,,problem is it opened $30 which I felt(still do) is awfully aggressive....and one look at vlcm/irbt/uarm all consumer related all traded awfully aggressively and all got nailed on earnings recently. same thing will happen to crox if it gets to that $35 he is talking about.
cmg I think is headed the same way sometime this year....I like cmg/vlcm quite a bit but no way could I buy cmg at $50 and vlcm $40, too much risk there for me.
we had talked about uarm when it was mid 20's and I would have picked up some right around $20...just never got to me.
vlcm has a huge gap in the 28's if it does fall there sometime I will buy and hold that one at that price. vlcm is a huge longer term winner I think just got ahead of itself.
