I have had my share of messages deleted in my day (you may remember I spent a fair amount of time in dialog with a gent from fla) and what matters most for not getting posts deleted is not attacking individuals. If you answer the misinformation and don't address the person posting at all (their motives, their name, their odor, etc) then it should never get deleted. Admins are not in a position to separate lies from facts for every board on here, but they are in a position to see who is violating the TOS by "attacking" other posters.

Some people who are very active on these boards have become very adept at posting without violating TOS and immediately reporting any reply that violates them. Many fairly innocuous posts are technically TOS violations and, if reported, will be deleted.

From the Ihub TOS:

1. You are completely responsible for your own investment decisions and who and what you believe on the boards. The boards are designed to help you gain the information edge you need to help you make your own decisions. You are responsible for properly analyzing and verifying any information you choose to rely upon.

Hugo's posts had no affect on my ability to invest and profit from INO stock. I would hope this would be the case for you also.

2. Messages posted by individuals may be misleading, deceptive, or in error. If you disagree with a posting, feel free to voice your opinion. It is the policy of iHub to allow our members to freely discuss issues in a free and open manner, and we will not take sides in disagreements or disputes based on investment sentiment or other subjective criteria.

3. You understand and agree that the Content and Services available on this Site are provided "AS IS" and that we assume no responsibility for the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, deletion, misdelivery or failure to store any Content, posts, images, communications or personalized settings.

4. Moderators of stock-specific boards are allowed to immediately remove any post that falls into the following categories: Threat, Off-Topic, Vulgarity, Privacy Violation, Spam, Personal Attack, or Duplicate.

Moderators neither ban posters or get to decide on requests to be unbanned. Currently I see that you are not listed in the posters that are currently banned.

I guess I will finish by saying, yes all opinions are welcome, as are your rebuttals to "misleading or untrue" posts, as long as they abide by the TOS.
