Just some comments:
1.) I was speaking of cuts to Vet benefits - not gov't spending abuse.
2.) When GWB waves the flag and praises our brave
servicepeople for protecting us from one of the Axis of Evil, yes, I believe he cannot then go behind closed doors and cut their future benefits. That's not being honest. But then, was he honest with us regards reason(s) to invade Iraq? I maintain he was not.
3.) Experimental procedures for Vets? Not sure what you refer to - again, I'm talking about Vet benefits.

The Reps have to get over WJC - he's a great target, but he's not running in '04.

If you agree with the proposed cuts to Vet benefits, that's fine. I prefer GWB be more up-front regards what he has in mind for our servicepeople while he is simultaneously waving the flag and praising them.
