Well said, Ed. And in terms of time, we are not talking much more than three to six weeks. Tick tock...

#15527 RE: ed longstock #15511

What I am trying to say is that the birthdate of a company has NOTHING to do with the experience of the principals behind the company. Businessmen with decades of experience in their respective fields open a new company and that company carries with it all the experience that the businessman brings.

Concur 100% with this statement. There could be many reasons why SCRC elected to form its own JV to play this particular role in the infrastructure. So long as the end goal of sales is attained.

However, the only thing I would be concerned about with setting up so many JV's (as opposed to simply bringing on headcount who are expert in these fields and handling everything in-house via 100% wholly-owned subs) is that with this JV, the Forbes JV, and who knows what other JV's may come next, is that this means that the partners in these JV's will forever in perpetuity receive a cut off the top-line revenues of every dollar in sales. With too many hands in the cookie jar, we don't know (w/o seeing the terms of the JV's) how much of the pie is left by the time SCRC gets to record any of it in its own books -- which is ultimately all that we shareholders care about, no? Hopefully, as the year progresses and we start seeing sales and related expenses flow thru SCRC's Q's, outsiders like us can begin to get a clearer picture of the financial arrangement between SCRC and its various JV partners.

They achieved RapiMed registration approval in Hong Kong, which some on this board doubted.

LOL, I'm sure NO ONE expected HK approval since HK was NEVER mentioned as a jurisdiction SCRC was currently applying in!

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts as to what became of China? Did we all miss something in all of the PR's and forward-looking statements that discussed China? Was there something that mentioned HK that we missed? Ultimately, I am very curious as to whether your read on the situation is that China is also already in process and we should be hearing from the regulatory agency soon? Or is your read that it was strictly only HK at this time and that SCRC is only now beginning the regulatory approval process for China? If the latter, then are we looking at another 60-90 days potentially for news on China?

Next, they are going for sales, which, again, some on this board will doubt.

Not sure if doubt is the right word, or if you are referring to someone in particular, but as far as I'm concerned, as I have stated in a prior post, China is the crown jewel of Asia, not HK. HK is nice and ultimately important w/regards to notching all the various countries under SCRC's belt, but I would rather see sales from thousands of pharmacies and retail outlets like WalMart China in mainland China (as SCRC itself envisioned in its various PR's) than simply a smattering of Chinese tourists dragging suitcases of RapiMeds across the border from HK back to mainland China.
