My point was that the ONLY market EDIG is currently in is the MP3/WMA player market that the two companies mentioned in your post were downgrading. The IFE unit has not yet been produced and tested, and given e.Digital's history, may never be end up making it to the market.
Remember that EDIG has also promised to have a DIVX device of its own out by the end of 2002, but later quietly scrapped that plan.
I have heard the same rumor more than once, that maybe Microsoft is the major OEM that will adopt the design in development among the EDIG,HP and ECLISPE team. What do you think of this speculation. Thank you
