But our government has allowed the opposition to slow things down. It's up to the citizenry which you say you trust more than the government to start electing people who will be more to your liking. I dislike what is happening but I understand there are too many uneducated citizens in how a government functions who think like you who are the problem and keep electing these bozo's into office. I suspect more Republican Senators will be elected to office in the mid-term by Red States who are a real drag on a functioning government as you call it and the house will probably be still held by Republicans. Divided government does not solve many problems and can create a whole bunch.
