Sure would be nice to be able to Hide the iBox by default, paying members deserve that.

like me--it's just something you "hide" the first time you visit the board.

Some times perhaps but there would still exist an equal number of openings for future supporters, opposed to a biased life time position for whoever signs up first. which as we all know, often results in all mods on the same side of the fence. Not fair! Biased info boxes and sticky posts is a problem. Should be improved at the least, not covered up and excused.

While for some, the IBox is evidently a useful Cliff's Notes, for others--like me--it's just something you "hide" the first time you visit the board.

First thing I do when looking at any new ticker board....."hide" the IBOX immediately.
