Here's my reasoning, I trust my family, friends, neighbors and countrymen with weapons more so than I do the gov't regulating those weapons. Therefore, there is collateral damage holding this view, I accept it. Furthermore, weapons in the hands of countrymen ensures democracy in government.
When the government is less dysfunctional, I could consider regulation, for now a big no, no, no.
