Do you really think that Bush is intentionally trying to bankrupt the nation?? That is utter nonsense.

Bush inherited a failing economy from clinton (as I have posted before, I do not blame clinton for that) and he most certainly did not instigate 09/11 or its aftermath on the economy. I do not care who was president during this period, there would be huge deficits - and it amuses me that the dems are suddenly born again fiscal conservatives when never before in their lives did they hesitate one second voting for every spending bill they saw (except for the military) yet are now worried about the deficit. What a hypocritical farce.

While I do not agree with a lot of Bush's economic agenda, to blame him for the deficit is ridiculous.
