At least we agree on Teddy Roosevelt - he was a great president who did a lot for this country.
But it amazes me that you would defend someone like clinton, a born liar who would rather lie than tell the truth and one of the weakest presidents on foreign policy we have had (second only to carter). It was not just Monica - it was his whole lack of character from beginning to end.
You and other liberals like to whine about Enron and Halliburton -- what exactly are you accusing Bush of??? Democrats were at least as much in bed with Enron as the Republicans were, and far more so with Global Crossing and WorldCom. Bush took a lot of contributions from Enron, but they were the largest company in Texas and Bush was the governor of the state - if Sister Theresa had been governor at the time she would have taken donations from Enron - nothing bad was known at the time. It was a Democrat, Rubin, who called the Bush administration to get favorable treatment for Enron and it was the Bush administration who turned him down.
Like I say - a bit of objectivity would help.
