That is not what I said. What I did say is Intel tends to hold a press conference for every major milestone, and many minor ones, when developing a process or a processor. We almost always hear about when they have produced transistors, SRAMs, larger SRAMs, even larger SRAMs, really big SRAMs, tape out, first silicon, etc. Sometimes several times. AMD doesn't do that nearly as much.
