I wonder too if solar could be used to power a Stirling engine?

What I do know is that they have some cars out there powered by solar technology The roof is made of the solar panel.

Do you know off any company involved with utilizing the Stirling engine BTW ?

Transat here is a private company in CA that is using solar powered sterling engine.They are currently constucting in the deserts after recently receiving contracts.One drawback is the large surface area required,not suited for individual homes.
