Everyone's drugs are time dated by patent or competition. The biggest concern for Ariad is competition. As money trickles in from Iclusig, its other trials are forced to wait until funding is available. Bit of a high wire-act.
Best thing for shareholders and patients is HB sells. All those trials get reinflated, GIST also once they figure the dosing, team stays together, etc.
I am thinking the company will be sold near $20. This rumor could have been somewhat truthful or just a good guess, just some sticky details to work out.
