W, that was one of the questions I had for a while also. The ONLY answer that makes any sense is understanding how important a competent Mgmt team really is. From what I read is they made several missteps all around the same time, much of it (to me) an over reaction to results from their D trial. Not sure if they interpreted the results incorrectly or were told the results were bad, have no idea. But after that fiasco they turned around and I believe announced a reverse split AND financing (dilution) all around the same time. Give or take. Maybe not same exact time but round about. I'm sure others may have a clearer picture of what happened. This just going by memory as I didn't take notes at the time. But came away with the belief that I hold to this day......it was utterly mangled by their mgmt team. Not saying that is the absolute correct answer, just my take away.
