Completely Wrong : MIT 1000 passed rigorous testing at USDA for AOAC with 99% accuracy.

At least I DID read the synopsis :
First paragraph "abstract"

"A total of 81 microorganisms (55 isolates) were tested by the MIT 1000
System,



So 81 is not even the accurate(sic) score but the number of organisms tested !!

6 Discussion

The MIT 1000 System scored 99% accuracy on the blind
tests, which was in line with our expectations.


7 Conclusions

The PTM blind test score of 99% indicates that the MIT
1000 RMID System can accurately identify Listeria
and distinguish it from other bacteria. We recommend that this
method be approved by AOAC RI
