The Opteron TPC-C system also has an availability date of October. That's just the way TPC-C seems to work. Those hardware configurations are pretty complex, so it doesn't surprise me the long lag time between product launch and TPC-C availability. I expect Madison to launch some time in the next 1-3 months.
