P/I is the 6th leading cause of death in the USA. SARS is highly infectious, but it is not the fearsome ogre you make it out to be. You really should do a bit of research before posting opinions that are uninformed at best.

Do you always try to obfuscate an issue. P/I is more deadly that SARS and I never said otherwise. P/I is not as deadly as SARS in % died vs. % infected. There is a difference. If the same number of people had SARS that had P/I then its mortality rate would greatly surpass those who had P/I. But that is not the issue and you know it.

I pointed out that more people in this world have AIDS that are Heterosexual. It's a fact. The spread of aids does not care if you are a homosexual or a heterosexual. It is spread by the exchange of bodily fluids.

So if I said "If conservatives always bash Homosexuals, why is it that conservatives do not think they are homophobic?" There are two parts to that sentence. One is a statement and the other is a question. In your question the statement is: "If homosexuality is not a factor in the spread of the disease" which my contention is homosexuality is not a factor in the spread of the disease. It is the exchange of bodily fluids whether by homosexuals or heterosexuals or drug users sharing needles or woman with HIV having babies or through Blood transfusions that spreads the disease.

You further state "Why would it be different to have special hospitals for the treatment of AIDS?" Fine with me but it would be extremely costly. However I agree that we've been to politically correct with people who have aids. We need to test people and if they have HIV make it a crime punishable by quarantine if they have sex with a non-HIV individual. I have no problem taking draconian steps to eliminate or reduce the spread of this disease as I see it as a real security threat to our way of life.
