#128975 RE: wbmw #128965

A friend's wife recently bought a Surface Pro 2. She's in the high-paid financial world and wanted something light for travel that she could do real work on. I was pretty surprised as this guy has been highly critical of the Surface Pro (basically the keyboard, mouse and Windows 8/8.1 experience).

The thing that I've disliked about Sony products is that they typically load it up with crapware and drivers and they try to put in proprietary stuff which is often incompatible with other devices.

There are far more Best Buy stores than Apple Stores. In my town, the Best Buy store is less than a mile away from the Apple Store. You'd only go there if the Apple Store was out or if you needed to pick up something else non-Apple and only wanted to make one trip. I have an employee discount at the Apple Store which saves me 7-9 percent at the Apple Store too.

Last year, I just didn't see a lot of people looking in the computing section at all, Apple, Microsoft or whatever.
