You actually need to see it for yourself at Best Buy to fully appreciate it.
I actually was in Best Buy last night to buy a mouse and I did end up trying out the surface pro2. The screen was nice, but I was immediately turned off when I tried to use One Note and Microsoft asked me for online credentials. I couldn't use the app. Since I wanted to try the stylus for note-taking, my impressions were not good...
There were a bunch of 2-in-1 machines and touch laptops. People weren't trying them out. Most were in the Apple section.
