I've heard that before. And I've even heard of folks investing in companies with the hope that the settlement of the shares involved in such frauds will bring them riches...ever hear of the legendary "MOASS"? It's just that I've never actually seen it happen. EVERY one of those attempts to benefit from purported frauds has resulted in disappointment for those who have tried to take advantage of them.
They have to cover someday, right? Don't bet on it.
If one actually believes that there are more shares outstanding than a company TA reports, the thing to do is run away as fast as you can...you haven't found a source of easy money. But there are plenty of people who might lead you to believe that you have.
