It looks like it might possibly connect these two deposits creating substantially more ore and making for much more efficient mining by having - a large open pit mine instead of two small ones, if that was their original plan.
OR maybe their original plan considered the possiblity of making a large pit and hauling away this rock in between the two deposits as waste.
IF that was the plan, this rock between the two deposits is an asset now, not a liability.
Whatever, expanding two deposits into a very large one by potentially adding 400 meters of ore is very exciting, especially when the grades are nice and the intercepts are long.
Either way you look at it, Moneta's project became much more economic and dare I say it, much more desirable to it's neighbours mine operations ...
If those two deposits can be connected with economic ore of even half the grades indicated today, it should have a DRAMATIC effect on the economics of this project, not only due to the extra ore, but also in terms of efficiency.
