I see posts here daily telling me how great, how big, this is going to be. Many guys even give investment advice and say BUY or HOLD.
Well for me and most of the people I know, if we are going to take any sort of significant or long term position in any stock we want to know EVERYTHING before we invest.
That includes, history of management, current financials, current stock structure, fully diluted stock structure including any preferreds, options, warrants, convertible notes and debentures etc etc etc.
If they are operating out of the kitchen of someone's home and using a mail drop for the corporate address, I want to know it.
If they have a factory and say they are running 3 shifts a day and in production 24 hours a day, I want to see it, or have someone I trust see it.
Actually did that once in Vancouver. Company put out news about adding another shift. I had one of my employees stop in on his way home....LOL, "factory" was an old warehouse, subletted, no one there at 4pm in the afternoon and neighbours said one guy shows up maybe once or twice a week. When that info hit the threads and was passed to the SEC etc, company quickly reverted back to a shell, which is really all it was anyway.. and was sold.
If you think it's odd, that my friends and acquaintances, some of whom I've know since 1998 or earlier happen to post on the same stocks as me.........WOWEE it must be a conspiracy!
