It wasn't that long ago that Qualcomm, Nvidia and AMD were enraged about TSMC's lack of capacity. We are coming up on an instant replay of that.
.......now is what counts......If Intel can use existing 22nm tools at 14nm, why can't TSMC use existing 28nm tools to do 20nm? They have more 28nm capacity now than needed as demand will not grow that much for it in 2014.......a portion of the 28nm demand goes to 20nm. You read a lot of "stuff". What would be your estimate of what TSMC is charging for their 20nm node. (per wafer)
