in addition to effectively eliminating aerosolized pathogens within a given space, the system of the invention also allows an operator to apply the ozone-containing gases at predetermined concentrations of ozone directly to problem surfaces in the room, with a physical agitation action and under pressure where appropriate. The system also includes an ozone-destruct unit for removing residual ozone from the room atmosphere. The whole system is portable, so that it can be moved from room to room as required, and is harmless to equipment contained in the room. Once the sterilization process is completed, the room can be back in medical use within 20 minutes, with its residual atmospheric ozone level at an acceptable 0.04 ppm or less.

BTW...there won't be any people in the rooms treated :-)

This is a great post! EPA changed testing standards in July!

Proposed regs have to published, allow for public comment, be finalized and then published in federal register.

This process can take months-even years. Companies would be foolish to spend funds on testing before the final test rules and final standards were published and in effect.

It was very wise for management to wait until new EPA regs were finalized before spending the estimated $1,000,000 (according to article) it would take to go through the testing process.

The information makes it clear that the delay MZEI has experienced goes right back to the government approval process.

Maybe the Medizone leadership is not as stupid, lazy or incompetent as frequently depicted.

Come on spring thaw. I hate ice fishing. Maybe buy a nice home way down south from MZEI profits.

Take - great news for "human health".

Thankfully, no one will be in the room when AS is doing its thing.

What is their kill rate?

Oh, and how are their sucky UV competitors doing?

What is the competitions kill rate?

Probably sucky as it doesn't get into all the nooks and crannies, huh?
