Taint and the wait accrues to the common
All profits going to government, then ending up in Supreme Court, and per Corker's statement "Handle it like they would a bankruptcy". Recall the WSJ statement that no company in 200 years has done bankruptcy that is profitable?
How does a BK judge handle a company that has paid back 130% of the debt, and the deciders - those that simply desire a new system and be damned with the fallout - fare with a BK judge in a 'settlement'.
Others state that Jr. pfd. might get back-dividends for zero return for 6 years?
Common would get more than $10 a share, for sure, roughly $20B (I count 800M and 1.2B for my estimate)
The longer the wait, the more accrues to the common - this is why SA supports commons and I continue to tilt a little more that way, too.
Taint, you may be right - Supreme Court and all that and wait for 2 to heck 5 years, but I really think Berk, Ack and others aren't going to let that happen from their end and courts will have to shuttle and scuttle the decision when (to Epstein and every legal guy that ever chimes in) the case is open and shut.
