"he wasn't a Hitler, or a Caligula .. :) "
I beg your pardon but he certainly did his best to be a Hitler. He was a bit constrained, but not by any sense of morality.
Let's say he could more closely be compared to a Custer, who would have continued his slaughter of the indigenous population until he was finished or dead.
Sabra and Shatila may turn out to be the least of that piece of shit's atrocious legacy.
In no particular order let's consider his slicing up of the Palestinian population of the West Bank into a "pastrami sandwich", his vulgar display of triumphalism on the Temple Mount which precipitated the second intifada or his creation of the concentration camp known as Gaza... which is always somehow touted as magnanimity... "giving land for peace"... his wanton destruction of civilian infrastructure in the same, water treatment facilities, bridges, harbors, schools.
Next time you think about the violence in the Mid East, the attacks of 911, the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and the nuclear ambitions of Iran, stop to consider how much that one vile man played a part in all of it.
I would piss on his grave and possibly dig up his rotten bloated corpse to piss on him personally. There are some dead that you just have to speak ill of.
