This suit is absurd. Even Johns Hopkins says there is a relationship between them (through two of their top endocrinology people) and Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals (subsidiary of Star Scientific), even through Star never said it. The address to respond to about the Thyroiditis study, as found on the Johns Hopkins website, is a Johns Hopkins address.
It is covered. Plaintiff attorneys in a bind. They never wanted to litigate this. Thought was to have Star expend time $ and energy. All set up by shorts. Their argument is laughable at best. Go and download Deep Capture. Kingsford Capital is involved here also.
