That was a snip from TSM conference you quoted. If this practice applies to "Gross Margin" figure, that would make TSM's gross margin very realistic, and conservative (and very subject to unit volume fluctuation).
Is there a comparable statement about what portion of depreciation Intel applies to gross margin ? I have not seen such a figure for Intel, but maybe some of the people who track it closely will know.
