he point is Intel is well aware now of where it has to aim for in performance, power and features and it has the capability to get there in the future.

Sure. Nobody's disputing that Intel CAN do it, but the could have done it at 22 nanometer, too. That being said, I do think Broxton could be the "killer" chip.
