I should know this, but I forget the answers. Why do stocks never sell at the buyout price? And, secondly, what happens if an investor doesn't sell the stock before it's bought out....is it sold for him? And, would it be sold at the buyout price? Or, would it be sold at an arbitrary price below the buyout price?
