#126890 RE: Elmer Phud #126881

The time context of your original statement was during Hector's reign on terror.

No, it wasn't.

The post by Henri Richards was right in Hector's heyday.

Forgive me for not giving a s**t about your particularly constrained interpretation of my post.

My original statement was:

"The critical thing you constantly fail to comprehend is that Intel has simply never faced-off against a robust alternative consumer platform before?"

It was the esteemed Mr. Will who (in the follow-on taunt, so I don't really give a s**t) brought up Hector Ruiz.

If you want to argue that AMD in fact was a "robust alternative competitive platform" to Wintel, by all means, state your case.

If you want to argue that AMD wasn't vulnerable due, in part, to capacity constraints, by all means, state your case.

If you want to argue that AMD never had competitive products, or never had competitive products with Ruiz at the helm, I'm willing to just agree to disagree with you and walk away.
