Xan - I wonder the same thing. I did a real quick thumbnail valuation and figured that book value is somewhere around .0017 - I really expected the pps to take another dive yesterday. The EOD run-up came as a bit of a surprise.
I think the only conclusion I can come to right now is the standard... this is The Market, it doesn't have to make sense. The condition of the company isn't always reflected in the price of the stock... though it will usually balance out in time.
I'm just marking time right now-I'm convinced another really good "buying opportunity" will presnt itself soon enough.
Chip's interview didn't really say anything new. Certainly didn't suggest anything would change for the stockholders and I'm not yet convinced that management has the stockholders' financial goals ahead of their own. They seem far too willing to scoop their their profits right off the top to the peril of the rest of us. This company is way over-valued right now and there's no track record to suggest they are destined for certain success.
At this point the only safe assumption to make regarding the O/S is that all 4 billion shares have been issued... then question that begs is what will it take to authorize more? That seems more likely to me than a R/S.
