When we finally start treating AIDS like a disease and not a social stigma, we might just start making progress toward containing and eliminating it.

So you could say that it was because of the judgemental attitude toward gays, that AIDS spread to the degree it did.

Anyone who doesn't recall all the bru-ha-ha over San Francisco's gay bath houses when Aids first began to be identified here in the US, either is very young or has one hell of a bad memory! Or, is in total denial, which probably includes Soxie!

AIDS is such a mess. Somewhere back there I actually agree with the comment you made about promiscuity. I have read that some in the gay community are now into the combined viagra and amphetamine club seen. Keeping every thing up so to speak.

I don't make the natural distinction many make. Nature is filled with variants and for that matter deviants. I actually do not think that anything is unnatural as that would suggest it was not of this world.

I like to make this distinction. If what you do does not harm me than I support your right to do it. If what I do does not harm you than I support my right to do it. Morally these things get very complicated. Obviously the species won't get too far if the main interest of the group is not reproduction. Legally I think the question really comes down to is there a victim. If so than I think we, as a society need to interfere. If not than I think we as a society need to realize that this is none of our business.
