Lol Manc... Yes all those possibilities has sent chills down my spine... A truly unique investing opportunity we have here , no doubt! And what's so cool about it is I think we have the best management that can execute all that!
We're looking at the new Monsanto with virtually a global monopoly on seed/food production. A chemist I worked with in the late 90's owned old Monsanto at 2 bucks (before the new Monsanto IPO in 2000). They have a storied past, FDA, political and elite ties. Monsanto MTC (old) merged with Upjohn Pharmacia who eventually merged with Pfizer. Pharmacia spun off new Monsanto before the Pfizer deal. New Mon has a stock split in there somewhere (2006 I believe) and I know my chemist friend is now a multi millionaire buying and holding old/new Mon when they were just into herbicides and pesticides. Will XXII grow global tentacles and ties similar to the Monsanto beast?
