The three e-mails I received are baffled why anyone would object. But I can see how others might try to earn brownie points by acting as if you have a valid point. Anyway, I'm glad you are dropping it. Now as long as you don't act out on your grudges in your official role as Sheriff we will all be happy.
[edit] - just caught a few posts here on a discussion of email lists/spam etc ... i find email completely useless now, due to the volume of spammer garbage incoming ... huge amounts of time necessary to delete the crap, most times now i just hold my finger down on the delete button, make it all go poof ... if there was anything in there of value, too bad, it's just become a useless medium
