Can I hear an actually good reason that the Walgreens.com contract is not real? For the average timeframe to get up on a website from signing...yeah, it can be anywhere from 3-9 months, depending on the company, their process, and that's WITHOUT any hitches in the progress. Nick did get ambitious again, thought it would be early, clearly not.
So, since we have had verification from the company itself and their name mentioned in multiple PRs WITHOUT any blowback, how can that not be real?
And no, 'Walgreens wouldn't mess with such a small company' or 'they're still not on their websites' are NOT legitimate reasons.
In fact, they would have HAD to put out a retraction if they did not indeed have a partnership. The first PR even showed up on the WALGREENS stock page!! they would never let that fly. Never.
And if you'll remember, someone on Twitter barely even MENTIONED Walgreens, and they were almost immediately Tweeted by a customer service rep asking if they needed any assistance. So how is it that Nick has used their name multiple times in conjunction with their partnership if, again, this were not real. They have teams on the web and in legal, they would indeed go after false claims.
Look, I'm not ecstatic he told us one time frame and it became a longer one. And I really want Walgreens to give them a firm date for release. But the actual, most logical scenario in this situation is, truly, that they have a deal with Walgreens.com and drugstore.com and it's taking it's time getting up. That really is it. All the rest are theories of conspiracy that really aren't based in reality, or experience of what these time frames really are in this industry. That's really it.
