Incivek vs Victrelis: Incivek had about 15% (absolute) SVR advantage over Victrelis. They weren't equal efficacious treatments! As well as Victrelis did against Incivek, it tells me ABBV/ENTA will do much better vs GILD.
I'd be curious to know how much the AE profile (specifically pruritus) had on doctors shying away from Incivek. Perhaps it just gave Merck reps some additional ammunition?
