if market was in the mood to tank we would have tanked on the horrible horrible unemployment and GDP data. for a selloff this really was pretty lame, we didn't even hit trading curbs.
and the 15min looks like it's bottoming out right when the 60min are bottoming out: don't know if that's what LG refers to as "MTFA", but from my experience when a short one kicks in right when the next longer one is ready to flip the other way, it bodes well for a decent move in that direction.
i ended the day flat, and got a majorly indecisive signal at EOD so i will probably stay flat until near monday's close. my feeling is we're going up from here, but i'm on the sidelines so my feelings don't mean squat, lol.
keep hearing arguments that it can't be a real bull because we've gone nowhere since october. i have no opinion on whether this is or is not a real bull, but that argument imo is just plain silly: since we're well above the october lows we've done even less than squat in a bearish direction.
