Zeev or anyone else, a tax-related question:

What do you use to keep track of your capital gains, especially wash sales? I currently have Quicken 2003 Deluxe, but it doesn't track wash sales, and I just spent an extraordinary amount of time adjusting my Schedule D in TurboTax for wash sales.

I did a quick search on this thread, and I saw a few posts here and there, but nothing definitive. I am considering GainsKeeper, but I'm not sure I want to pay the mucho bucks for their subscription service.

Zeev - I'm holding quite a few shorts. Should I hedge some of it at the 1420-1425 level. Perhaps even starting at the 1430 level or so? Or should I just sit tight. Your thoughts are much appreciated :)
